Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 視覺藝術與設計學系碩士班 === 103 === The process of creating is as to experience spiritual return trip; however, while on the trip it is inevitable to meet intersections, sometimes I stumble on rocks. Yet is my persistence to make sure that, if I am able to step forward, I can reach the destination by surpassing current situation. Creating makes me find out my essence, and also lead my unsettling mind to return trip. Creating makes me find out my essence, and lead my unsettling mind to return trip. On the trip, I record of what I observe and how I feel in the journal, and turn those into symbolling images. Once the images have its logic, my mind recovers gradually and is taken away from incidents. The effect of delineating discourse on me is as same as the extension of creating, making it more concreate to throw myself back to the feelings such as nourish, pause, and joy. This discourse explains the research motivation and intention in introduction, also includes research methods and range. Chapter one: To describe the reasons affecting the forms of painting and analyze the main form of expression. Chapter two: To discover the rules used on the images, and to conduct further research, will focus on three levels iconology from renowned Iconologist, Erwin Panofsky. Chapter three: Managing to find out probable causes that make the meanings different from the paintings created by three contemporary Asian artists. The study on how symbolizing icon its content forms for reference. Chapter four: To analyze the objects their thoughts and stories behind the icons, demonstrating vision and sense of touch by applying two different materials. Chapter five: To divide the development of psychological status when creating into three levels, and elaborate conceptions and analyzations of the works. Experiencing through this researching process, you have to take the good with the bad. The most important is I find back the original intention of painting and the creating direction that moves me. I expect myself to step further, to be more fearless no matter when I create or be on the journey of life in future.
