Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 數位學習科技學系碩博士班 === 103 === The main purpose of this research is analyzing and discussing "using digital game as auxiliary to train sensory integration dysfunction (SID) kids", according to game data and observations. After discussing with occupational therapist, we created new games by the actions in the Clinical Observations that could be achieved in the game and the actions in the conventional treatment. And we combined the new game with the one we made before as the tool in this research. The participants are six kids ages were between 5 to 8, and were diagnosed with SID. They were divided into experimental group and control group. The experimental group was trained by the new version of the game in six weeks. During the experiment, experimental group still accepted the traditional sensory integration therapy. Before and after the experiment, occupational therapist would use Clinical Observations to measure all of them. Researcher would conduct interviews with caregivers. During the experiment, researcher would observe and record the kids' emotions and the situation of the game. Researcher arranged the data above and the data obtained from the game to analyze and discuss. It was found that digital games could improve cases' motivation in early training. The game also helped or maintained the actions in Clinical Observation s which were excepted could be reached in the game. And caregivers held a positive attitude, for conditions of using the game as an assistant therapy training. We expect after improving the software and the system could make the somatosensory sensory integration digital game play a greater role to the assistant training to kids.
