| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 台灣文化研究所 === 103 === This article is talking about the changing and development of Huwei Liu，which sits in eastern Tainan. We could devide it into different ages according to the information gathered from books, maps, and the elders. This study is trying to find out the different faces of Huwei Liu in the following sights: political, environment, land and culture.
Huwei Liu Guan Di Temple is a religion center putting people close together. Huwei Liu still lead a slow-paced life, living mainly on farming even after the wars. After 1970s, the more modern the city is, the less the farming people are. It is not until the 1980s, when the super high way and the main road were built, did Huwei Liu become blooming. At 1996, the complete of the Huwei Liu modernization made it become more than just a large area.
Though Hou Jia fault goes through the south and the north, the program of the city aimed to a undensely lived area still draw lots of people. Whether the three city programs which are undergoing at the present time could offer a better living environment and what will it become? Let’s wait and we will see.
