| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 生態科學與技術學系生態旅遊碩士班 === 103 === Using in-depth interview, the present study examines the course and predicament of ecotourism development in Taomi community. According to the tourist area life cycle model (TALC), Taomi community ecotourism has experienced two development periods. The first development period (1999 to 2005) includes exploration, involvement, development and stagnation stage. The second development period (2006 to 2013) contains the development stage and the coexistence of both the consolidation and stagnation stage.
The number of visitors growing presents twice J-shaped curve, and even now still attempt to pursue the increasing of number, emerging Taomi community internal controls difficultity. Traffic congestion and Bed and Breakfast saturation indicate exceeding the carrying capacity of the natural resoures in Taomi community. Young people have outflow situation, indicating economic insignificance. Taomi community needs to learn how to promote tourism's quality with limited natural resources, and practice conserve energy to reduce carbon emission and reduce wastes, to produce a higher economic value. Avoid excessive consumption of resources exceeds its carrying capacity.
