The data collected through teaching observation recordings, journal, observation, and students’ feedbacks was to explore the feasibility of incorporating the electronic picture books into character education of the second graders and the effect of the students’ learning attitudes toward respect. The results of the study are as follows: 1. The implementation of incorporating the electronic picture books (1) Adjust the teaching material and strategies properly to resolve the encountering difficulties during the teaching process. (2) Through the action research, acquire the feasible teaching model in which the steps of the process can be interchanged, including group discussion, role play, model learning, experience sharing, and building up the core implication of character. 2. Implementing effect of character education (1) Incorporating electronic picture books into character education did promote the students attitudes toward respect. (2) Through incorporating electronic picture books into character education, the students made progress in discussion and presentation. (3) Through incorporating electronic picture books into character education promote, the students became more confident. (4) Through incorporating electronic picture books into character education, the class atmosphere became warmer. 3. After character education instruction, the students and the teacher’s changes and development (1) Incorporating electronic picture books into character education promote the teacher’s professional ability. (2) Incorporating electronic picture books into character education promote the students behavior of character effectively. (3) After incorporating electronic picture books into character education, the students and the teacher had positive changes and development.
