Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 表演藝術研究所 === 103 === In the 19th century, Henri Duparc (1848-1933) is one of the influential composers of the mélodie in Romanticism. Since he is such a perfectionist for his works, the works in whole life are successively adjusted and refined for the duration of seventeen years. Due to the effect on the style of the works by Richard Wagner (1813-1883) and Cesar Frank (1822-1890) who are the popular German and Austria composers in France, thecharacteristics of his music are rich and diverse. This thesis focuses on Duparc twelve mélodies which are the more influential mélodie works. The twelve works were written between 1868 and 1885, and the lyrics were selected from the poems of Parnasse which risen from the end of 19th century. Duparc had chosen nine of them, and made the contents of poems combine closely with his music which full of unique aesthetic conceptions and creative tricks. Therefore, He stood out from the crowd in many works by virtue of little creative works.
