Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 水產養殖學系 === 103 === This study developed a quick method to test attractivity of different attractants, and investigated attractive effect of different attractants for cherry shrimp. Experiment 1 designed three different test methods, which respectively were runway comparison method, direct comparison method, the first reaction time method to test attractants for cherry shrimp.Through those tests showed that direct comparison method is the best for cherry shrimp to test attractants. Experiment 2 using direct comparison method to test attractivity of four different commercial feed, commercial D has the best attractivity(35.8).It can attract 35.8 shrimps in 20 minutes, followed by commercial A(30.5), commercial C(18.3), commercial B(16.3). Experiment 3-1 using direct comparison method to test attractivity of 36 different attractants, dividing into 9 groups randomly. Each group had five replications. With 3% test substance, krill meal had the best performance, followed by poultry meal, meat and bone meal was the worst. With 0.5% test substance, Isoleucine had the best performance, followed by X compound, and succinic acid was the worst, and malic acid, succinic acid, DMPT showed negative effect. Experiment 3-2 using direct comparison method with double-elimination tournament, comparing 36 different attractants in multiple rounds. Each attractant had an opportunity to compare with the others and showed got an order for all attractants. It was found that 3% test substance ranked 1 to 5 were krill meal, commerical attractant, tubifex worm, scallop meal, poultry meal respectively, meat and bone meal was the last one. With 0.5% test substance ranked of 1 to 5 were X compound, betaine, methionine, glycine, arginine respectively, malic acid was the last one. Experiment 4-1 was conducted to test 10 different mixed attractants with a combination of any three of krill meal(K), commercial attractant(C), tubifex worm(T), scallop meal(S), poultry meal(P). Results of the best was KCS(It can attract 33 shrimps in 20 minutes), the worst was KSP (17.4). In experiment 4-2 KCS and KSP were added with X compound(KCSX and KSPX) to test attractivity and to compare with KCS, KSP, and single krill meal. Result of KSPX had the best performance(34.4) which was significantly higher than single krill meal(10.2).The result of KCS(20.4) and KCSX(20.8) were similar. In this study, direct comparison method with double-elimination tournament was used to test attractivity for cherry shrimp. Effective attractant in order(with 3% supplementation) were krill meal, commercial attractant, tubifex worm, scallop powder, poultry meal. Effective attractant in order(with 0.5% supplementation) were X compound, betaine. Mix effective attractants can attract more shrimp than single attractant. The results indicated mixture of amino acids can also improve the attractivity to cherry shrimp.
