碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 社會與區域發展學系碩士班 === 103 === This research tried to figure out that the effects of participating in the community activities on the residents’ community attachment. This research collected data by questionnaires in Yong–Ji Community in New Taipei City, during 2013. Finally, there were 165 questionnaires. There were three major results, as followed: 1. There were four major types of the community activities, such as “Learning Activities”, “Healthy Activities”, “Service Activities” and “Social-Interaction Activities”. The residents had higher preference on the “Learning Activities”, especially "Elderly Singing workshop". 2. The result showed when residents participated in different types of activity, they had significantly higher community attachment. 3. When residents had higher community attachment, they had higher community participation, especially on “attendance of the meeting regarding improvement of the community”, “fulfillment of personal duty in the community”, “participation in the community gathering”, “assistance in the coordination of a team for problem solving in the community”.
