The research samples are the textbooks of Kang Hsuan version, Han Lin version, and Nan I version approved by the Ministry of Education in 2012. Content analysis is used as the study method to compare and analyze the text content, after-school exercise, integrated activity and final vocabulary review of the three versions. Hope the inference based on the study results can help the teachers and the textbook writers and editors. The study results are as follows: 1. In terms of vocabulary of Kang Hsuan textbook, the amount is 384, the frequency is 638, and the difficulty level is 2.03. In terms of vocabulary of Han Lin textbook, the amount is 386, the frequency is 671, and the difficulty level is 1.94. In terms of vocabulary of Nan I textbook, the amount is 404, the frequency is 703, and the difficulty level is 2.11. 2. In terms of vocabulary of text content of Kang Hsuan textbook, the amount is the most, the difficulty level is moderate, and it is a hard to learn version. In terms of vocabulary of text content of Nan I textbook, the amount is moderate, the difficulty level is the lowest, and it is an easy to learn version. 3. In terms of vocabulary of after-school exercise of Nan I textbook, the amount is moderate, the difficulty level is the highest, and it is a hard to learn version. In terms of vocabulary of after-school exercise of Kang Hsuan textbook, the amount is the least, the difficulty level is moderate, and it is the easiest to learn version. 4. In terms of vocabulary of integrated activity of Kang Hsuan textbook, the amount is moderate, the difficulty level is the highest, and it is a hard to learn version. In terms of vocabulary of integrated activity of Han Lin textbook, the amount is the least, the difficulty level is moderate, and it is the easiest to learn version. 5. In terms of vocabulary of final vocabulary review of Nan I textbook, the amount is the most, the difficulty level is the highest, and it is the hardest to learn version. In terms of vocabulary of final vocabulary review of Kang Hsuan textbook, the amount is the least, the difficulty level is the lowest, and it is the easiest to learn unit.
