The ultimate goal of this paper is to operate in the West animal ethics controversy with Buddhist Non-dualistic Middle Path, made clear that the same model of Western theories with a view to break the continues crux of the controversy of animal ethics theories. The first part of this paper arranged by the re-examine of the Western animal ethics controversy, showing the central ideas which inside the various theories. And clarify the core concepts as bottom support of these theories. These arguments were always on the same thinking patterns, and therefore its faces similar questions. Through the Buddhist Non-dualistic Middle Path and the related points of it, found that the theory of Western animal ethics is actually limited to the two ends of the ideological framework. To face the endless dispute in western animal ethics, the Buddhist Non-dualistic Middle Path can offer several possible suggests to western animal ethics.
