Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 工藝設計學系 === 103 === This series of art works named “The Tracks of Scribbles” examined the process to catch the tracks of the emotions in our daily life and materialize them on the vessels by oil color pencils. Ever since I was little, I have always been very fond of making sketches and paintings. I kept painting whenever I could. After growing up, this habit has become a kind of energy transformation to me. Whenever I experienced depression in my life, I would always be able to relieve the feelings immediately by making sketches and paintings repeatedly, especially when I moved my pens unconsciously. This is because the process of creation itself is also an art therapy to myself There are three series of topics in my art practice: “Trace”, “Dialogue”, and “Camouflage”. Vessels implies the process when people compromise themselves from self-isolation, willing to talk, to disguise and assimilation under the social norm and established social values. The main part of the vessels are made by copper metal spinning, with the help of other skills such as repousse, champleve enamel, curing, and oil color pencil drawing.
