Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 化學工程系 === 103 === π-conjugated molecules have been used in the organic photoelectronic materials widely. This type of molecules has electron donor and electron acceptor. Because the molecule has π-orbital conjugation, the electrons can be transferred from electron donor to electron acceptor through excitation light. According to the above reasons, this type of molecule has the property of intramolecular charge transfer (ICT). This type of molecule has been researched constantly. Most of literarure focus on distyryl derivatives. Therefore, we focus on styrylpyridine with ICT. Because cyano and pyridine are electron withdrawing group, we are researching the charge transfer of cyano and pyridine influenced by increasing electron withdrawing effect in different conjugated position. In addition to, we discuss the difference of photophysics properties between styrylpydine derivatives and distyryl derivative TA-St-4BN.
