In addition, a classification mechanism is included to remove the defected products. Design changes cover both hardware and software. Hardware changes include replacing highest-price motion controller card by pulse generator to control motor and using a cheaper data acquisition box instead of the expensive data acquisition card. Two free software packages, Visual Studio Express C++ and OpenCV library, are chosen to develop the system programs.
