In the society, the elderly were sent to the elderly welfare organizations arranged become the common way. However, in KaohSiung, the elderly welfare agencies are mostly old buildings rebuilt (a small medical clinic or idle housing etc). This type of architecture belonging to the use of mechanical equipment in the physical control to maintain comfort inside the building. These causing high energy consumption of the building, but also makes the indoor environment become poor. For old buildings renovated to use technology to solve construction issues of green technology for the elderly welfare institutions existing presence as the study of investigate the elderly welfare organizations. Improve the performance of their building is to enhance the focus on the quality of life of older persons based research. Try through passive design (Passé design) building facade renovation. Combined with modern technology, the control of the natural environment and the environment of wind to adjust its architectural environment, to orange target elderly care issues of science and technology. Thereby enabling the elderly to become the new welfare agencies Kaohsiung The happy community. This study involved “NUK” and “NSC”. Some of the results of the program include the cooperation for the use of passive design techniques to transform the facade of the building. Putting forward a "passive facade design modules ", and strengthening of which CFD wind environment simulation and optimization environment on wind conditions were different architectural value orientation analysis. An attempt for the elderly living in welfare institutions for the elderly to provide a good environment.The last, the establishment of the facade comprehensive diagnostic tables and passive facade design module strategy.
