It is now a surging trend to use the messaging apps for teacher-parent communication. This research is based on the questionnaires to the parents of the 1st and 2nd graders at the elementary school where I work at. The results show that the communication effects are an outcome from the interaction of these four aspects: 1) atmosphere, 2) content, 3) channel, and 4) frequency. Using the messaging app “Line” has an enormous influence on the teacher-parent communication for the 1st and 2nd graders at our school. As the dependency on Line increases, both the teachers and the parents share the benefits of better atmosphere, better content, a better channel, and surprisingly, the contact frequency lowers. I figure that the convenience of Line keeps the parents and the teachers more informed without having to contact incessantly. Another key influence on the communication effects is the parenting modes. The higher require the parents have, the more remarkable effects the communication can achieve. 陳智凰 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 71 zh-TW |

Another key influence on the communication effects is the parenting modes. The higher require the parents have, the more remarkable effects the communication can achieve.
