Traditional big family has been gradually transformed into nuclear family which directly consists of parents and children. Therefore, the function of care-giving in the family is decreasing which leads people to develop nursing centers with higher quality, and to provide the retired elderly people healthy lifestyle with completely lifelong learning and humanistic service.
Hence, the purpose of the study is to investigate the influential factors for the elderly people to select the nursing centers by using in-depth interview and taking Shuanglian Nursing Center as case study subject. By this way to let the nursing centers be able to meet the needs of the retired elderly people and to achieve the sustainable management and development purpose.
