Description
Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 中國文學系 === 103 === Hao Ching (1558-1639), courtesy name Chung Yu or Chu Wang, was born in Jingshan, Hubei. He was renowned as “Master Jingshan Hao,” and was a famous Confucian scholar and thinker in the late Ming Dynasty. Ching’s scope of academic research is very broad, covering literature, Confucianism, and historiography. After resigning from government official to live in obscurity, he focused on writing and wrote numerous books, such as “Jiu Bu Jing Jie.” However, later comments on Hao Ching were quite opposite. Modern scholars have also been aware that such opposite comments were caused by change in academic atmosphere, and were worthy of in-depth investigation. This study selected Hao Ching’s “Yi Li Jie Jie” as the object of inspection, in hope to investigate his characteristics of Confucian studies and thinking of ritual studies. There is a lack of studies investigating Han Ching’s book “Yi Li Jie Jie” over the years. The investigation of this study was divided into the following parts: Part 1 – Hao Ching’s life story and literary works; part 2 – the objectives of “Yi Li Jie Jie,” the contents include the nature of “Li Yi” and author of “Li Yi,” the criticism on the rites, mentioned in “Li Yi”, and the criticism on Zheng Xuan’s “Li Yi Zhu”; part 3 – interpretation of the perspectives conveyed in “Yi Li Jie Jie.” It is hoped that the summarization and analysis of these 3 parts can help fully understand Hao Ching and his book “Yi Li Jie Jie” without being restricted by the existing comments.
