碩士 === 東吳大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 103 === Lately, the credit card organizations have developed the 3D secure code and combined with issuers to protect from the fraudulent transactions on credit card. However, a lot of shopping websites don't apply the 3D secure code. Some application stores even record consumers' credit card numbers. Therefore, MasterCard created MasterCard inControl virtual card number to protect the credit card numbers. At 2013, MasterCard cooperated with Far Eastern International Bank and officially initiated this service in Taiwan. Nevertheless, there is no bank follow this new transaction security service up to now. Therefore, this study intend to investigate Taiwanese consumers' willingness of using the virtual card number and analyze the properties of Taiwanese consumers who will to use it. This study use convenience sampling to proceed surveys. The objects of the study are cardholders or potential cardholders who are living in Taiwan. The surveyed data is analyzed with SPSS and SmartPLS. The result shows over 75% Taiwanese consumers are willing to use the virtual card number as long as it makes the transaction safer.
