In this study, Hong Chung-Chiu case as an example, compare the content analysis process of development issues in the case, newspapers and Internet media for the cases reported how they are similar or different place. Mass media samples to the China Times, Liberty Times and Apple Daily, represented by the Internet media sample select "Citizens Action Coalition 1985" the face book fan page. Sampling time is ending July 5, 2013 until August 4, 2013, to select a total of 658 samples of newspaper media and network media 103 articles were analyzed.
The study found: (1) newspaper, reported that the amount of the peak of the Internet are different, obvious handle different focus; (2) newspaper attention to legal and related issues, network emphasizes action and struggle; (3) the newspaper cited other media sources is less than the proportion of the Internet; (4) the source of the newspaper highlights Hung family discusses network is biased alliance members and friends; (5) when the military newspaper reported adverse event, higher than the proportion of the negative stance of the network; (6) while the theme of the event, newspapers Strong ability to set agenda.
