Description
Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 廣播電視電影學研究所(含碩專班) === 103 === Smuggling Ordinaries is a home video of my family, home, and my own dairy. The film describes moving space, parents’ relationship, my absence, myself being one of the radiation victims who suffer form invisible illness, and my reflection about the meaning of home. The film documents daily activities by camera, smart phone, super 8, and voice recorder which are light equipment. Through representing the texture changing of the video, the film breaks the boundaries of family, self, and film narration to reexamine my body, self, family, and spaces. I threw myself back to the moment I recorded the film and collaged the collage and rebuild memory. Would the remade home video still be honest to reality? Were those accumulations of the ordinary rebuilt, reconstructed, and even renewed whenever I recalled myself to them? Or maybe the reconstruction of the memory of ordinary life was not helping me to see the face of home, but only conveying my imagination of it.
