| Summary: | 碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 金融系碩士班 === 103 === This is a very important investment issue. The study was to explore how the stock market investors choose stocks. In this paper, all the Taiwan Listed, OTC stocks used return on equity (ROE) as a financial indicator of stock selection. Stock selection criteria are continuous average over 15% of the stocks of the five-year return on equity. Selected stocks return rate then compared with the TAIEX and Taiwan 50 Index. The study finding the return on equity (ROE) does have a higher stock returns than the TAIEX and Taiwan 50 Index. For investors using ROE stock selection has been developed over many years to provide a investment process robust, reliable approach.
