To provide users with textiles featuring greater functions and value, future textiles will integrate high-tech components and be able to actively sense the changes in the surroundings and adjust automatically, thus possessing both interactive and entertainment features. Accordingly, this research uses “sounds” as a medium between human beings and textiles, in which the body’s movement can produce sounds to further achieve interaction. Summary of the smart textile: there is a high percentage of wearable interactive electronic clothing; the integration of characteristics in conductive fiber and high tech electronic materials brings multiple developments to the application. However, few electronic clothing can interact with music for the purpose of leisure. Therefore this study aims to apply conductive textiles integrated with a micro-system on-a-chip and related devices for playing music; consequently, a sound device based on the African drum is designed. The result of the experimental test shows that the conductive textile assembled with the African drum device, which can be beat with a single conductor and three conductors by turns in high speed as well as light and heavy sound, can be heard. This research explores the original sound effects of the costumes and real-time sound effects produced by body movement. In performances, this can constitute an impromptu stage creation, which can not only add color to the performance, but also endow it with unpredictable fun. 陳鴻仁 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 85 zh-TW
