A delicate visual image and dignified manner is a life goal pursued by the modern people. While the aesthetic style is all-embracing since ancient times and the pursuit of beauty is an innate instinct of human beings, including clothing, hairstyle, cosmetics, ornaments, accessories etc. which contribute much to one’s overall image. Regarding wedding, the marriage is considered to be an significant event during one’s life and the requirements for relevant contents and process of marriage become higher and higher within reach of financial situation, which makes the wedding industry boom despite of global economic downturn and relevant wedding industries as wedding photography, bridal secretaries, overall image design are emerging too. Therefore, this study concentrates on creating a series of artistic and connotative overall image for the bride referring to the design skills of the bridal secretary in the field of arts and shape to create, being structured by the marriage story of the couple and based on the creation of overall image of the bride so as to establish a process to follow, which makes the design and creation of overall image not just about skills but also be given the soul and meaning of creation. The study reviews first relevant documents, discusses the wedding, bridal secretary, overall image design and so on, aiming at analyzing the style and features of modern overall image design. Secondly, the study introduces the new conception of mixed media with color images, using mixing of twelve color systems such as the red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink, purple, black, white, gray, meter, light meter etc., adding the theme color for visual senses, using the headdress as the main style of the image in order to integrate the color style of the bouquet, shoulder flower, wrist flower which are made from different mixed media and combine cosmetics and hair style to form an overall image customized for the bride. This conception combines the requirement of the marriage context and the accessories of the overall image of the bride to make the bouquet, shoulder flower, wrist flower not only monotonous decorations, but colorful changes as well as uniqueness of lines and it adopts mixed media in the creation of overall decoration style. This kind of wedding makes extreme happiness its appeal and offers a visual feast to the public with the creativity of situational performance of the bride, which makes the customized decoration creation full of practicality and creativity, highlights the decorations in the wedding and fully presents the bride’s graceful appearance. The results of creations: twelve color systems and mixed media are employed for the design and creation. Regarding decoration design, it contains twelve headdresses, twelve bouquets, and twelve shoulder flowers, and twelve wrist flowers etc., totaling 48 decoration works, and there are twelve cosmetics designs and twelve hair style designs, which are divided into three theme styles for its elegance, fashion and creativity. It includes also a set of white gauze and three evening dresses, four sets of dresses to match, leading to twelve different styles and forms of overall image designs for the bride. In addition, as for the decoration, due to the finishing touch effect of the decoration in the wedding, an appropriate increase or decrease allows the bride presenting the charming appearance while the matching of tones, the selection of materials, the size and the degree of refinement will have an influence on the style and price of decorations, which should be taken into account by the bride and bridal secretary. Our work apply the decoration and shape of the bride’s overall image into the real model and imitate the theme style and features of the bride based on the figure, face and size of decorations so as to present the real effect of the works. Secondly, in terms of cosmetics, the foundation plays an important role, the color of make-up shouldn’t be too white or too heavy which can be fixed to maintain the bright color when falling off. This creation mixes twelve color systems to emphasize the eyes of the bride, so the gradation of eye makeup contains monochrome gradation, bi-color gradation and three-dimensional inverted draw to match with powdery or shining eye shadow, eyeliner as well as eyelash, which add charming three-dimension effect to eye makeup. Finally, in terms of hairstyles, hair design focuses on the head form, hair length, hair nature, hair amount, height of the bride as well as the style and place of the wedding, which will be the basis of communication of the two sides. Before hair design, the hair must be cleaned and the hardness of the hair shall be confirmed and the hairdryer shall be used to increase waves of the curl to reach the stability of the shape. The head form such as large, small, long, sharp, round, sloping, concave, convex etc. shall be considered and add wigs partially according to the proportion and balance to increase the curl and bulkiness required by the design elements, make up the deficiency of the head form and satisfy the conditions of beautiful shape. While the amount of hair will affect directly the curl and bulkiness, there are variable styles and colors of hair pieces and the real hair or man-made fiber wig can be selected according to the needs. During the selection, the curling iron or hair dryer may be used and hair perming or coloring are considered as the best choice for wigs, which makes it natural to add wigs into the hair design. There are several choices for the forehead bangs, such as pageboy style, hypotenuse bangs, retro waves, pigtails shape etc., which can present the natural and beautiful features. The theme style and hair color shall be taken into consideration during hair design; brown is the favorite color, followed by blond, red-brown and natural black, so the similarity of hair colors shall be considered when choosing wigs. The shape of wigs contributes to the change of hair style and the smart use of wigs can modify hair amount and shorten the time of operation to achieve the goal of varied hair styles and present the features of different styles. As shows in the above results, we create a series of works for the wedding according the mix of twelve color systems and mixed media as well as the practical operation for the bridal secretary, including the integrated decoration creation, cosmetics design and hair style design. The purpose is to present different features in the bride to form the style of a theme marriage. We expect that these works can be employed in the wedding by the bridal secretary, contribute to the overall image of the bride and the creative skills and provide diverse viewpoints and creative thoughts so as to give the audience an unlimited extension of the imagination, present the design of overall image, form a distinctive style and an artistic diversity and enhance the value and significance of the overall image design.
