| Summary: | 碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 應用設計研究所 === 103 === Nature has always been an endless subject for human’s works of creativity. Art always encounters Nature along the everlasting flow of history and civilizations. Memory of Nature in every forms of life (including human beings and other sentient beings on earth) has been shaped since birth. Human life aggressively developing also means the industrial area which covered the earth surface rose increasingly, leading to the downsizing of natural area and maybe its inevitable vanishing either. Protecting the environment is one of the most important global strategies nowadays. I choose the “Memory of Nature” for my collection to hopefully revive the emotion and love for nature, and a positive directory to protect and preserve the invaluable asset of humanity. During the procedure of selecting graphics and an appropriate method of material processing, I explore deeply into the handicraft methods to make material (sewing, crocheting, embroidery…) combined with sewing machine and a variety of fibers which I have found. Besides, nature is an enchanting treasure of color and color schemes, which is a fascinating challenge and great experience to change my old routine of concepts about colors in previous designs. I would like to combine the above techniques with my inspiration from the picture captured by Macro lens. It leaded to some interesting visual effects. Each of my designs is a separate effect; various colors are organized with certain purposes. In general, I used the stylized form to ensure the overall structure of the collection.
