Good design ideas are of no use without case sources and the process of taking on cases and operational methods often encounter numerous problems. There is also the consideration of the necessity of marketing conditions and ability when a designer starts a business. This study used 14 interior design companies in Kaohsiung City as case studies and conducted a research on interior design business marketing through literature reviews and interviews with professionals. The specific results are as follows: 1. At the current stage, interior design companies rely on interpersonal-networking and reputation for case sources and social interaction is a basic ability in marketing conditions. 2. Amongst business difficulties interior design encounters, cost is the major problem; interior design can no longer be measured with low costs, the key to obtaining businesses is the management and control of the quantity of important cases.
