Summary:碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 103 === Understanding individual acceptance and use of information technology is one of the most mature streams of information systems research, this study is based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT 2), to explore the behavior intention and use behavior of smart phones and tablet PC of the junior high school students. Furthermore, this study also explored the UTAUT 2 mode is suitable for verification of junior high school students in Taiwan. The research conducted a questionnaire survey, the study sample was junior high school students and 342 valid samples were collected. Smart PLS was used as the SEM analysis tool. The research results indicated that: (1) Performance expectancy, hedonic motivation and habit have positive impacts on behavior intention. (2) Facilitating conditions, habit and behavior intention have positive influences on the intention to use behavior; (3) Increased experiences strengthen the influence of hedonic motivation to behavior intention. (4) As habit increases, girls tend to use smart phones and tablet PC more frequently than boys do; and (5) This model explained about 82.3% of the variance in behavioral intention to use smart phones and tablet PC and about 44% of the variance in the use behavior. The relevant findings could provide as application reference for education and business.
