Description
Summary:碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 103 === In the customized insole manufacturing process, the most used way to obtain personal point data of the foot profile at the present is reverse scanning and measuring the foot pressure. Then, a 3D insole model is designed and the insole products are finished by the way of CNC machining. This is a typical subtraction manner of manufacturing. The manufacturing procedure is not only complicated but also time-and- materials consuming. However, in this time of demanding cost-and-effect as well as efficiency, reducing the manufacturing time and cost will bring great benefits to the customization service of insole products. 3D printing is an addition manufacturing technology. Applying of 3D printing to customize insole manufacturing not only shortens the production time but also reduces the wasting materials to almost zero. In this study, a desktop 3D printing machine is used to actually print out insoles. Using a specially soft EVA compound material, the FDM extrusion molding technology enables the desktop 3D printing machines produce a product which can be used directly. With high precision of reverse engineering and point data processing, a complete view of each person’s feet diagram can be obtained so that customized insoles can be realized. When the subjects try on the produced insoles, we can analyze the average pressure of the plantar and the improvement of the balance of the center of gravity to secure the comfort level of customized 3D printed insoles. The results of this study can serve as reference for customized insole designs and applications.
