Summary:碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系 === 103 === ABSTRACT The main purpose of the study was to comprehend the status quo of motivation and constraint factors for firemen in Tainan to participate in recreational sports and to investigate the difference of motivation and barriers to participate in recreational sports for firemen form demograhic background. This study utilized questionnaire survey and took the firemen in Tainan as study samples. 427 questionnaires were returned out of 500, the quantity of valid response questionnaire was 308, and the return rate of valid questionnaire was 72.13%. The information was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-Test, One-way ANOVA and correlation analysis. The main findings are list as below: 一、Firemen show passable cognition of motivation to participate recreational sports and “health promotion” had the highest participation motivation among it. 二、Firemen show passable cognition of motivation to constraint factors and “structural constraints” had the highest obstruction factor among it. 三、There was a significant difference between for firemen’s constraint factors to participate in recreational sports according to their marital status, weekly recreational days, duration of each exercise, and different sports. 四、There was no noticeable relationship in every aspect between the status quo of motivation and constraint factors for firemen to participate in recreational sports.
