The author applied the method of watercolor painting with Chinese ink drawing skills and Chinese ink drawing with watercolor painting skills, to discover each technique and inspiration. It also elaborates the inner connotation and the self-reflection via outer environment. Watercolor was the main material with the Chinese ink drawing to produce the combination of vision and spirit. The viewer was brought back to nostalgic memories through the shadow of blur and darkness. The author attempted to apply eastern and western techniques to explore the new field for the nostalgic aesthetic feeling. The drawing creation progresses are endowed with various material and techniques. The author tried all the techniques to utilize new concepts and skills to blend into the watercolor painting and Chinese ink drawing in order to access the deeper cultural contents. It may not the keynote of the mixture of the west and the east. The significant purport of this research is the author has eager to try to represent a new vision.
