Based on the facts, Japanese was once highly regarded Miaoli as the ceramics center of Taiwan. Due to the changing of society and lifestyle, containers made by ceramics was replaced with plastic products, also affected the ceramics industry in Miaoli to decline gradually. In recent years, promoted by local governments positive policy of local traditional industries, Miaoli ceramics had the chance to transform. By integrated traditional crafting, local culture and creativity, Miaoli ceramics opened another window. The main purpose of this study is to organize, through literature and in-depth interviews, analysis the successfully transtioned case of Miaoli traditional industries - Kinglong kiln. The researchers insight into the Kinglong kiln business model, collecting data from visitors experience for reference and analyze. In this study, Miaolis subject - Kinglong kiln was the main subject, as Kinglong kiln is currently insisted the traditional process, open for visiting and in operation. Through studied case by case, we found that the traditional process, handcrafting, uniqueness and traditional Hakka culture is the most important thing finding it’s own product position in the highly competitive market. In conclusion, upholding local cultures and create its own distinctive elements is the ustainable way traditional industries development.
