Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 光電工程系研究所 === 103 === Recently with increasing bandwidth demands, multi-wavelength lasers can provide high bandwidth and deliver high performance. Multi-wavelength lasers are of great interest for their versatile applications in wavelength-division- multiplexed (WDM) communications, subcarrier multiplexing and all-optical upconversion. This study proposed a self-start multi-wavelength laser using distributed feedback (DFB) laser and optoelectronic oscillator (OEO). In order to develop the fast and stable multi-wavelength laser source for radio-over-fiber (RoF) system and reduce the power consumption and cost, OEO, which replaces the traditional local oscillator, is a promising candidate as the oscillation generator due to the optoelectronic feedback by itself. Experimental results show that the quality of transmission data can be achieved user’s requirements. It will be useful in the fields of optical communication system.
