Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 材料科學與工程研究所 === 103 === Owning a clean and white teeth is enviable. Most people will use teeth whitening products or choose to go the clinic for dental bleaching. However, teeth whitening products available in the market, most of using high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide (about 30% to 35%). This exceeds the concentration of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations. In order to reduce using the concentration of hydrogen peroxide. Some literature use high-energy such as ultraviolet light (UV-Light) or laser for catalyst. However, UV-Light for Patients and physicians eyes has significant burden. On the other hand, using Nd-YAG laser for bleaching dental is also a very high-energy light source. Therefore, the purpose of this study is the preparation nitrogen-doped titanium oxides photocatalytic material and using LED light cure for light source do dental bleaching. Using photocatalytic material reduces the concentration of hydrogen peroxide and energy of light sources. The results show, this dental bleaching agent effective degenerate methylene blue solution of 95%. Teeth color contrast before and after dental bleaching the gradation difference 4.5. In CIELAB color analysis, Brightness (ΔL*) and chromatic aberration (ΔE) values are increased, Δa* and Δb* values are decreased. It is prove of this method can indeed bleach teeth and this product has been potential of commercialization.
