Summary:博士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 有機高分子研究所 === 103 === In this dissertation, silicon nanowire field-effect-transistors (SiNW-FETs) were utilized to detect molecular interactions between bio-molecules. We first demonstrated that application of field alignment on the probing molecules could improve the reliability and enhance the detection sensitivity of nanowire sensors. The sensitivity we achieved for detection of DNA hybridization is 0.1fM 15-bases single strand DNA (ssDNA). In addition, we developed a DNA recovery system by introducing a complementary ssDNA that could remove the target ssDNA from the target-probed DNA. These applications could be further used for real-time detection of a wide variety of bio-molecule sensors.
