However, the MIMO-OFDM systems still suffer from the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) in the transmitted signals. Although the partial transmit sequences (PTS) provides good performance for PAPR reduction without introducing any signal distortion, extra bits should be transmitted for the side information (SI) to recover the original signal at receiver, resulting in the decrease of the spectral efficiency. This study aims to investigate the effect of both PAPR reduction and the spectral effi-ciency. Signals are multiplied by the phase offsets between different transmit antennas to avoid transmitting the SI at transmitter. In addition, the Zadoff-Chu (ZC) precoding matrix is employed to improve the performance of PAPR. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can offer good performance of PAPR without the transmission of SI, resulting in the improvement of the spectral efficiency. 曾德樟 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
