Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電子工程系研究所 === 103 === In recent years, due to the advance of mobile communication technologies and the popularity of mobile device, people utilize mobile devices instead of traditional desktop computers or notebooks to access the Internet services. However, file-sharing service using mobile device is limited to storage space and network bandwidth. At the same time, file-sharing service using mobile device is easy to drain mobile devices’ battery power. More and more cloud services promote the file system to move from the local storage to the cloud storage. Therefore, this paper proposes and designs a peer-to-peer (P2P) based file-sharing cloud system. First, the P2P technology can improve the file-sharing efficiency and the transmission quality. At the same time, a cloud storage is integrated to increase storage space for mobile devices. However, the combination of the P2P technology and the cloud storage would induce (1) file system fragmentation and (2) high memory consumption. Regarding the aforementioned issues, the proposed mechanism can avoid file system fragmentation, reduce unnecessary memory usage, improve the access efficiency of the cloud storage, minimize the energy consumption and increase the transmission quality of mobile device.
