Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電子工程系研究所 === 103 === The main purpose of parking assist system is that it can improve the safety and efficiency in driving and in this thesis it applied computer vision to assist drivers. For example, a certain number of parking accidents happened when there was limitation in driver’s field of view. As a result, in this essay, we conduct low cost and pragmatic equipment to obtain the image of surroundings in order to broaden their field of view and solve the problem of blind spots, then combining with image processing to improve the safety in driving and parking. In addition, by using the image, which is produced by using fisheye camera lens in aerial view application, optical flow and parallax, we can detect obstacle and identify that whether the parking region is available or not. Furthermore, by outputting coordinate information to fuzzy theory and controlling the car turning angle for parking assistance, the safety and efficiency can be increased in terms of backing up vehicles.
