Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 103 === In the project Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-Advanced) of the 4th generation wireless systems (4G), the number of time slots for uplink data transmission is not guaranteed to be even. In this thesis, we propose a multilevel space-time block coding scheme with two transmit antennas and three time slots which can be applied to the uplink transmission frame structure. The coding scheme is designed by combining multilevel coding and set partitioning of the transmission matrix set according to the coding gain distance criterion. The simulation results show that the new scheme can achieve full diversity, full rate, low-complexity codes and good error rate performance.
