The required mechanism design is based on an ordinary key’s turning-angles required to unlock, which are 90˚,180˚and 270˚, as the motion range of the required output link. The resulted design is a six-bar linkage which can perform three different output turning-angles by changing one of its link for testing three different lock cylinders. The solid model of this novel design has been done via Solidworks software, and its kinematic simulation is also performed as well.
