For example, many mechanical components need lathing process. Lathing can be considered as a vital machine among all mechanized instruments. However, the development history of the lathe can be thought as an industrial development and progress. This study uses the case study research and delphi methods. At begining, in-depth understanding of important historical research on the evolution of lathes, tools and measuring tools are carried out. Then the case study reaserch was applied to this study, to investigate cases on the development and technical innovation analysis of lathe technology. In this work, three representative cases were selected from D Company for In-depth explanation and discussion. Case #1 is the cutting process on the threaded of the left side with four transmission lines within the bore of nut. During this study, CNC lathe was specially used to speed up to accomplish manufacture mechanical parts safely. In Case #2, a combination of milling and lathing was selected to shorten the processing procedures and improve the machining accuracy. In case #3, we utilized a cutting cycle processing to achieve a mass production, and thus, reduces costs and improves the staff’s working efficiency. Meanwhile, from our research results, it indicates that the statements from a view of lathe with integrated technological innovation can be summarized as follows: 1. Lathing procedures strongly affect the success of the machining workpieces. 2. Necessary condition for the success of the thread processing was the calculation of the lead angle and the incomplete thread of technology. In addition, care must be taken on the cutting speed and the direction of grinding on the lathing tool. 3. The combination of the milling and lathing was to enhance productivity and should pay more attention to the procedure arrangements of milling and lathing processing. In case #2, a process of lasthing first and milling second was found out to have a higher machining accuracy and higher efficiency. 4.
