The results display no matter pipe or small neddle structuer, the guided wave will propagate along the structural outline. Even pass through the welding, it will cross and go ahead. If the wave pass through the defect, it will develope the scattering or reflective waves. By observing the visualization, defects location will be find immediately. Additionally, this research investigate the different receive mode for the LUVS. The receiver type include straight beam transducer、angle beam transducer and interferometer. The results display the staight beam transducer is radial propagation wave, be applicable wide range and skin deep detection. The angle beam is directional propagation wave, be applicable partial range and deep detection. And interferometer is non-contact receiver, be applicable to detect the specimens which have hot or uneven surface. LUVS have wide application, but it hard to bring out the laboratory.
