Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 土木與防災研究所 === 103 === The adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM) constitutes a paradigm shift in the architectural, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. Usually, the collaboration development of BIM model is adopted for General Contractor (GC) for high effective purpose. Without the effective and suitable management approach, it is easy to cause rework and mistakes during the collaboration development of BIM model. Those problems include rework, schedule delay, and low quality of BIM model development. In order to solve those problems, the study proposes BIM collaboration management models for general contractor for effective collaboration development of BIM models. This study proposes BIM collaboration management models for the development of BIM model for GC during construction phase. It proposed BIM collaboration management models includes the initial plan for BIM collaboration management and the execution plan for BIM collaboration management. Furthermore, the proposed models are applied to case study of a building project in Taiwan to verify its efficacy and demonstrate its collaboration management effectiveness. Finally, this study identifies the processes, benefits, limitations with applying BIM collaboration management models through the real case. Finally, conclusion and suggestion are summarized for further applications in practice. The combined results demonstrate that, the proposed approaches are effective collaboration development of BIM models for GC in practice.
