Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士班 === 103 === With the development of Multiple College Entrance Examination,Taiwan''s has three major standardized University Entrance Examinations which are called General Scholastic Ability Test, Department Required Test and Star Plan. Because students can choose different entrance examine to get the permission to enter university according to their own advantage, they may choose the easiest entrance examine to reduce the burden of the high school curriculum. Will this create obstacles in the studies in the university? In this study, we try to find whether the performance of their professional courses will be affected by passing different entrance examines. Will it cause learning difficulties for the students who got the admission by using the score of the Department Required Test and the Star Plan? We will give some recommendations to enhance the quality of students enrolled. In this study, we explore the multiple regression analysis of students'' performance in some professional subjects based on students’ background. Based on our analysis results, we try to make some recommendations to the education institution of the university entrance examination to enhance the quality of the enrolled students. The results show that only gender will influence on the grade of university study. If the scores in English and Mathematics are higher in Department Required Test, their performance in university will be better than those who’s English and Mathematics scores are lower.
