When the industrial age came, women left their home and started to join the workforce which had drown a big question for these women if marriage really mattered. Marriage was regarded as a force to stabilize the society but it had a drastic change due to the progress of the society. Today, there are so many outstanding career women and the power within marriage also has some changes. Through these women''s point of view, we are given the answer some hints about the future trend of marriage in Taiwan. The research was conducted by through semi-structured interviews of eight high-achieving women. These interviewees’ perspectives were further analyzed through futures methods. Possible futures of marriage include shifting men and women’s roles in marriage life thus to provide a picture of the changes in marriage relationship.
