Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 藝術與人文教育研究所 === 103 === In September to December of 2014, the researcher invited by Community Empowerment Center of Taoyuan Country to be one of the artists of 新屋藝家人 participatory art project in XinWu. It was a short time social practice and limited by the policy of government. Researcher collaborated with participators to develop public artwork. Considered that art as material and curators and artist as agents, how did agents operate their stragies and tatic, the art practice articulate with learning, and art engage with participator’s daily life? Artwork is not just an object, but also a learning process, in which affect the relation of people, environment, or “other.” After the processs of art practice, audiences could involve in the situation, which is created by public art, and sympathetic response to public art. Artist creates not only an experience of hands-on, but also minds-on by the art movement. “How does art participate in the society?” This research is based on “Art-based” practice research. Before art practice, researcher organizes the transformation of art, the role of art in community, and the relations of art practice and learning/pedagogy. And summarize the concepts and methods of operating art practice by researcher, which is an artist of 新屋藝家人participatory art project in XinWu. Then, to discuss the aim of the research, reflect and overview the influence of the process of the particitaory art project that is the short time and limited by the policy of government, how does affect the artist, participator, local residents, etc. and how dose art practice articulate with learning? Researcher found that the art practice establishes the relation of artist and participators, participators and audiences, participators and environment, the inside and outside of mind of participators. However, the wide of local social capital of XinWu, the diversity of participators, and the connection between agents and other residenets influence the force of the art practice. Community is an evolving organism. To make communities achieve sustainable value, need to develop from the point to the line and surface. Since development of interdisciplinary and diverse, need to create horizontal lines. Therefore, summarize the discussion of the process, researcher proposes that an agent’s reflections to response to the role obligation, and the suggestion of the execution strategy to enhance the efforts of cohesion of “sense of place.
