This study surveyed and analyzed 228 Taiwanese college students from TOKO University and National Taichung University. Based on analyzes of structural modeling, the results indicated that motivation and belief were positively associated with English learning self-efficacy and improved English ability as well. On the other hand, anxiety was negatively associated with English learning self-efficacy. It did not improve English performance and instead provoked many learning problems for Taiwanese college students learning English. The results found that both motivation and student belief were strong factors to develop English learning self-efficacy and reduce anxiety in Taiwanese college students learning English.
