| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 國民小學教師在職進修公民與社會教學碩士學位班 === 103 === This study mainly explored the current situation of consumer trust and shopping behavior of the traceability system between New Taipei City and Shanghai City. In addition, this research tried to find out the differences and correlation between consumers’ trust and behaviors toward traceability system in New Taipei City and Shanghai City. The researcher applied a questionnaire named “The Questionnaire of the Influence of Consumers’ Trust and Shopping Behavior toward Traceability System” as the instrument to achieve the purpose of this study. The subjects were consumers in both New Taipei City and Shanghai City, and they were chosen by random sampling. There were 648 effective respondents in both cities, and the responsive rates were both up to 93% respectively. Based on the data analysis, the results are listed below:
First of all, the results showed that many of the customers in both New Taipei City and Shanghai City were not familiar with the traceability system due to the lack of advocacy from the governments across the Taiwan Straits. Secondly, consumers in New Taipei City put more trust in the department of agriculture than consumers in Shanghai City. Thirdly, consumers in both cities who care more about health tended to purchase more products with traceability system. Lastly, consumers with more income in both New Taipei City and Shanghai City put more trust in the traceability system as well.
The researcher expects the findings provided could give suggestions to the departments of agriculture and consumers who care about traceability system, as well as further studies.
