Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 體育學系體育教學碩士學位班 === 103 === The main objective of this study is to explore the relation prediction between athlete’s sports goal orientation and sports competition stress of elementary school volleyball. In addition, this study also explores the differences between different volleyball athlete background variables. This study relies upon questionnaire survey to collect needed information thereby the questionnaire is comprised of: 1. individual basic information; 2. sports goal orientation; 3. sports stress. And this study selected the 5th and 6th graders varsity athletes for 2015 national youth cup of volleyball tournament as the research subjects, and purposive sampling is adopted to proceed to questionnaires dissemination with 350 effective returns. Information processing includes descriptive statistics, Independent sample t test, one-way analysis of variance and multiple regressions. Main conclusions of this study are as follow: 1. The perceived performance of volleyball athlete of elementary school has been rated highest at “work orientation” whereas that of sports stress has been rated highest at “stress induced by coach”. 2. Male athletes in addition to 2 to 4 hours and 6 hours daily practice have higher work orientation whereas the longer in participating to varsity and serving as starting athlete, the higher the sports orientation would be. 3. Male athletes would exhibit higher peer pressure and characteristic anxiety. Those athletes who have more than 2 years of seniority in varsity team would exhibit higher overall sports competition stress and characteristic anxiety. Those athletes with daily practice between 2 and 4 hours would have higher sports competition stress. 4. The level of work orientation would impact competition stress.
