Description
Summary:碩士 === 萬能科技大學 === 經營管理研究所在職專班 === 103 === Because of the financial abundance, the trend towards fewer children, and under the attitude of expecting their children to become successful for each parent, how to make children have good learning performance is an important question worthy discussing before entering the 1st grade of elementary school. Moreover, the parenting attitude, and how to make children to adapt to school life, and get the good learning performance is the issue for this research. Base on it, this is the research to discuss the relationship between the 1st graders’ parenting attitude and adjustment from the view of self-caring ability and perceived communication ability, and discuss if the difference of those variables could affect the learning performance. The survey was answered by 1st grade elementary school students, and completed through questionnaire data in north of Taiwan elementary schools. 456 copies of questionnaires were delivered, and all of the 424 questionnaires were received effectively, so the effective response rate was 93%. The collected data were analyzed over software SPSS 21.0. The statistical methods including descriptive statistics analysis, crosstabs, factor analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis, demographic variable, and regression analysis are used to verify the hypothesis. The empirical study reveals three important conclusions. First, the relationship between 1st graders’ schooling readiness and learning performance would have significant impact because of the parenting attitude and adjustment as mediating effect. Second, the parenting attitude has complete effect. Third, being the 2nd child could have more ability to use what they have learned to solve the problems in daily life. The entire conclusion could be afforded to the parents to raise their children, and to kindergartens and elementary schools to develop the transition lessons as a reference. It could also provide a reference or basis for future academic researches and concept of management for relevant units.
