As violence, bullying and campus-society union goal, campus security management become more important for the authorities. The fastest way for teachers and students to get support when dangers happen has to be managed. In this study, a pre-designed security system is proposed and a survey is conducted to ensure the functions meet the needs. This study applies information technology, such as QR code, LBS, Google map, cloud technology, and mobile devices, to implement a safety patrol and emergency system. Through the combination of mobile devices and other technologies developed for help locating reporting system, to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of school safety systems for security issues.
To validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the system, semi-interview on three constructs are collected. They are ‘campus security awareness’, ‘campus safety protection’, and ‘the visibility of campus security’. The results show that the three aspects have been promoted significantly after the implementation of the system. This result contributes on the framework of school safety policy and implementation.
