Teenagers should get all kinds of life experience by joining in different activities and be aware of their tasks of roles to enter the society successfully in the future. In order to define out criteria for students to choose satisfying types of leisure activities, the research was done through the analysis of the relevant literature on the subject and then surveys were carried out to collect experts’ and students’ opinions about the matter. With the data from them, MDM and AHP were both used in the study to create the hierarchy framework of decision-making on selecting leisure activities. Then the relative weight of each criterion and the leisure preferences were calculated to be ranked. Results showed the “parent-child relationship” has the greatest impact on the decision making of choosing different leisure activities. The other criteria considered in order were family income, autonomy of time using, peer relationships, personality traits, promoting physical and mental health, resident location, enhancing family relationship, extending life experience, parental education level, academic stress, family population, parental occupation, enhancing social skills, ethnic factors, the amount of pocket money, and the benefit of enhancing learning efficiency.
